Planning Board Appoints New Engineer, Reviews Draft Master Plan Re-Examination Report

At its May 20, 2020 meeting, Glen Ridge's Planning Board appointed David Battaglia, P.E. as Board Engineer. The bulk of the meeting was devoted to a presentation of the draft Master Plan Re-examination Report by Jeffrey Janota and Nicole Venezia of H2M Associates, who walked the Board through the report's organization; members provided feedback on several recommendations, and a number of items were flagged for revision before the next draft.

Secretary Erik DeLine said that adopting the report at a June 17 hearing would be difficult given formatting, notice requirements, and the Memorial Day weekend, and the Board agreed to hold its adoption hearing at the July meeting instead. No members of the public spoke. The Board adopted its January 15, 2020 minutes, with Ms. Robinson abstaining.
