Glen Ridge's Board of Adjustment formally memorialized its approval of Howard Stuart and Jessica Leiken's addition at 10 Victor Avenue at its July 12, 2018 meeting.

The board then unanimously approved Polly and Marc Murphy's application to build a one-story rear addition and mudroom at 20 Hillcrest Road, despite a rear-yard setback of 21.4 feet where 25 feet is normally required. Architect Karin Robinson noted the rear-yard neighbor is the Board of Education and told the board the project had already been approved by the Historic Preservation Commission.

The board also unanimously granted homeowner Frank Juliano an exception to the borough's driveway ordinance to build a sixteen-foot-wide driveway apron at his corner property at 37 Madison Street and Chapman Place, four feet wider than the twelve-foot maximum normally allowed. Juliano told the board the width was needed to accommodate two vehicles given where his detached garage sits on the lot, and that there are no other driveways on the Chapman Place side that the wider apron would conflict with. No members of the public commented on any of the three items, and the board adopted its March 8 minutes with Mr. Krien and Mr. Scott abstaining.
