Glen Ridge's Board of Adjustment formally memorialized its approval of Allen Sista's air-conditioning variance at 34 Sommer Avenue at its March 8, 2018 meeting, with Vice Chair Ashenfelter and Ms. Berger abstaining on that resolution and on adoption of the February 8 minutes.

The board then unanimously approved a new application from Howard Stuart and Jessica Leiken of 10 Victor Avenue to build a two-story addition maintaining their home's existing, legally nonconforming 3.81-foot side-yard setback on the west side of the property. Architect Karin Robinson told the board the project had already been approved by Glen Ridge's Historic Preservation Commission at its December 6, 2017 meeting, and that all other zoning requirements would be met. Leiken testified she had notified and spoken with neighbors about the project. No members of the public commented.
