The Planning Board's October 21, 2015 meeting memorialized several prior decisions and approved one large new project. It formally adopted the resolution granting Carl and Kimberly Amici's appeal to replace the slate roof at 486 Ridgewood Avenue with GAF Timberline shingles (Hegarty and Rohal abstaining), and separately memorialized remanding Steven and Magda D'Addone's 404 Ridgewood Avenue addition dispute back to the Historic Preservation Commission for a complete resubmission (also Hegarty and Rohal abstaining).

The board then unanimously approved the Glen Ridge Country Club's amended site plan for 555 Ridgewood Avenue, a three-phase renovation including demolishing and rebuilding a larger pro shop (with golf cart storage, a caddy room, tennis retail space and a training center), extensive clubhouse renovations (new kitchens, a ballroom, bar and wine room, locker rooms and offices), and pool-deck expansion connecting to the tiki bar area, prepared by Schommer Engineering and JGA Architectural Design. The project was found fully conforming, requiring no variances or waivers, and was approved subject to Fire Department, Borough Engineer and Borough Arborist review (Hegarty and Rohal again abstaining on the vote).

On the School of Nursing/Mountainside Hospital redevelopment study, Secretary Zichelli reported traffic counters would be deployed on October 28, 2015, ahead of a public input session set for November 30, 2015. Deborah Dine of 6 Laurel Place again pressed for a Laurel Place cul-de-sac, asked when traffic data would be available, and raised concerns about traffic from Montclair-side development.
