Board Formalizes Cusumano and DeGregorio-Krusman Variance Approvals at 2017 Organizational Meeting
Listen
Glen Ridge's Board of Adjustment held its January 12, 2017 organizational meeting, unanimously reelecting Hugh Mahoney as Chair and James Ashenfelter as Vice Chair and reappointing Michael Rohal as Board Engineer, Michael Zichelli as Planner and Secretary, and Alan Trembulak, Esq. as Board Attorney. The board adopted its 2017 by-laws and set its meeting schedule for the year, running from February 9, 2017 through January 11, 2018.
The board then formally memorialized two approvals from its November 2016 meeting, with Mr. Seeman abstaining on each: a resolution approving Vincent Cusumano's addition and exterior alterations at 297 Ridgewood Avenue (which required rear-, side-, and building-area variances, including a side-yard setback of just 2.5 feet where six feet is required), and a resolution approving Bart DeGregorio and Trisha Krusman's masonry outdoor cooking structure at 69 Woodland Avenue, conditioned on a minimum twelve-inch setback from the eastern property line and a new evergreen fence at least 48 inches tall along that line. No members of the public commented at the meeting.
