Glen Ridge Board Finds Bullying Complaint Substantiated in Special Session

At a brief special meeting devoted almost entirely to closed-session business, the board's only public action was to accept the superintendent's recommendation on a Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying investigation at Ridgewood Avenue School, HIB Report 21-22 RAS #11, finding that HIB was substantiated. The vote was unanimous among the eight members present; Mr. de Leeuw was absent. Ms. Gottlieb arrived partway through the opening executive session.

The board met in closed session both before and after the public portion of the meeting to discuss confidential pupil matters, with no additional items brought to a public vote. No members of the public offered comment during either of the meeting's public-comment periods.
